ELEMENT MAGIC: freeze water into ice

Effects: You can make the water in the bottle in a short time to freeze into ice

Some time ago when a request of this trick, I immediately remembered my paktikum in high school chemistry. So, I immediately dismantle more books "Advanced Level Cambridge University: Chemistry" to share this trick to all my friends.

Preparation:

1. Prepare Sodium Acetate, Sodium Acetate is often called (can be bought at the store chemicals, chemical formula: NaC2H3O2), water, and pots.

2. Boil water until almost boiling, add the sodium acetate, stirring until dissolved.

3. If it's late, enter the water into a glass. Ensure sediment Sodium Acetate perfectly filtered.

4. Enter the glass of the solution into the refrigerator (not in the freezer)

Procedure:

1. We will conduct the performance, pour the solution into the bottle / glass.

2. Touch the surface of the solution with your hand / hands of volunteers for some time (approximately one minute, depending on the ratio between sodium acetate and water). In an instant, the water will freeze into ice.

The Scientific Explanation of Short and Simple:

1. Reaction process Hydration (adding water) that occurs in the reaction of Sodium Acetate eksotermis, meaning that the reaction heat released from the system (solution) into the environment. This is what causes the ice that forms rather feel warm even though the solution had cooled in the refrigerator.

2. Solid form of sodium acetate "absorb" the three water molecules to form a new compound called sodium acetate trihydrate.

The following chemical formula:

NaC2H3O2 (s) + 3H2O (l) ---> NaC2H3O2-3 H2O (s) + heat


This trick once again proves that magic is something very scientific and reasonable; very far from the elements of supernatural, occult, let alone help jinns and devils. ELEMENT MAGIC: TURNING WATER COLORS (simple)

Effects: You can change the color of muddy water into a clean white

Procedure:

1. Prepare a glass of water in the bowl / plate.
